Material: Adhesive label (vinyl or coated paper)
Design: Red background with black flame symbol, hazard class number “2” at the bottom, and UN 1075 marking for LPG (propane, butane, or mixtures)
Size: 4 × 4 inches (10.2 × 10.2 cm)
Use:
- Applied to cylinders, small containers, or packages containing LPG
- Identifies the contents as a flammable gas (Class 2.1) with the specific UN number 1075
- Required for package-level compliance under DOT/TDG regulations
- Full-size 11 × 11-inch placards are still required on bulk transport vehicles or tanks
